Where we ship from

All orders are picked, packed and shipped from our fulfilment centre at 2 Corporation Row, Edison, NJ 08817, United States.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of being placed. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday begin processing the next business day.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your parcel leaves our facility.

Delivery times

Once shipped, standard delivery within the continental United States typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories may take longer.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays and peak periods can extend transit times beyond our control.

Shipping rates — United States

Standard shipping is $4.99. Free standard shipping applies to US orders over $49 before tax.

International shipping

We ship worldwide. International shipping is available on orders of $45 or more. Orders below this amount can only be shipped within the United States.

International parcels are sent by DHL Express with full tracking. Typical transit time is 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and customs clearance.

Customs, duties and import taxes

Printed books enter most countries free of customs duty under the Florence Agreement. Import taxes, however, are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

What this means in practice:

  • Australia and New Zealand — no import charges on orders below AUD 1,000.
  • United Kingdom — printed books are zero-rated for VAT, so no import VAT is payable on books.
  • Canada — GST or HST applies to shipments valued above CAD 40, typically 5–15% of the order value.
  • European Union — import VAT applies from the first euro, at each country's reduced rate for books (commonly 4–9%). A flat customs charge of €3 also applies to parcels valued under €150. Your carrier may add a handling fee.
  • Other destinations — charges vary by country.

Any such charges are payable by the recipient on delivery and are not included in the price you pay at checkout. If a parcel is refused and returned to us because import charges were not paid, we will refund the value of the goods but not the original shipping cost.

Restrictions

Some titles cannot be shipped to certain countries because of local import rules on published material. Where this applies, the affected titles will not appear in our store when you browse from that country.

We do not ship to countries subject to United States export restrictions.

Tracking your order

Your shipping confirmation email contains a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving it for tracking information to appear on the carrier's website.

If tracking has not updated for more than five business days, contact us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier.

Incorrect addresses

Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. We are unable to redirect a parcel once it has been dispatched.

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Reshipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Lost or damaged parcels

If your order arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the books and contact us within 7 days of delivery. If tracking shows delivery but you have not received your parcel, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate with the carrier.
