Once Was Willem by M. R. Carey (Paperback)

Once Was Willem is a dark medieval fantasy by M. R. Carey, the international bestselling author of The Girl with All the Gifts. More than a thousand years after the death of Christ, in a land just beginning to call itself England, the narrator rises from the dead to face a great evil threatening the village of Cosham. It is a tale of twisted folklore, macabre magic, monsters, battle and an unusual found family.
