Savage Mind by David Treuer (Paperback)

Savage Mind is a new book by David Treuer, the Ojibwe writer from Leech Lake Reservation in Minnesota whose The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee was a National Book Award finalist. Known for sharp, thoughtful writing about Native life, history and identity, Treuer brings his distinctive voice to this Little, Brown paperback, a fine pick for readers who follow contemporary Native American authors.
