The Final Day: A John Matherson Novel by William R. Forstchen (Mass Market Paperback)

The Final Day is the third John Matherson novel by William R. Forstchen, following the New York Times bestsellers One Second After and One Year After.

Years after an electromagnetic pulse attack plunged the United States into darkness, the small North Carolina town of Black Mountain has survived through grit and sacrifice. John Matherson now faces a new threat as a rebuilding federal government grows increasingly authoritarian, forcing him to decide how far he will go to defend his community's freedom.

Tense and thought-provoking, it is a must for fans of realistic post-apocalyptic fiction.
