The Magician's Nephew by C. S. Lewis (Mass Market Paperback)

The Magician's Nephew is the book that tells how Narnia began, the first story in chronological order in C. S. Lewis's beloved Chronicles of Narnia.

In Victorian London, Digory and his friend Polly are tricked by Digory's meddling Uncle Andrew into testing a set of magic rings. The rings carry them out of our world and into strange places, including a dying city where they awaken a dangerous queen. Their adventure leads them to witness the creation of a new land by the great lion Aslan.

Wondrous and timeless, it is a perfect starting point for young readers and families.
